1 · VEHICLE MAINTENANCE
Where should you find the vehicle manufacturer's recommended tire pressure?
- ✓ On the vehicle's door jamb label
- · On the tire's decorative hubcap
- · On the rear license plate

Use the vehicle manufacturer's PSI shown on the door jamb, not a guess based on appearance.

During the penny tread test, seeing all of Lincoln's head means:
- ✓ The tire is too worn and should be replaced
- · The tire has ideal tread
- · The tire is overinflated
- · The wheel needs alignment
If all of Lincoln's head remains visible in the deepest groove, the tread is too shallow.

In addition to any local fine, a Georgia Super Speeder conviction adds a state fee of:
- ✓ $200
- · $50

The Super Speeder fee is a $200 state fee charged on top of the local fine, and not paying it leads to a license suspension.
📖 GA Manual · Georgia Drivers' Manual 2023-2024 - Speed limits, p. 214 · VEHICLE MALFUNCTION
If a vehicle's ignition is turned to the lock position while the vehicle is moving:
- ✓ Steering is disabled and the driver cannot steer
- · The brakes apply automatically
- · The vehicle shifts itself into Park
- · Only the radio and lights switch off
Steering locks are anti-theft devices; locking the ignition in motion takes away your ability to steer, so never switch it off while rolling.

Unless otherwise posted, what is the maximum speed limit on a rural interstate in Georgia?

Unless otherwise posted, what is the maximum speed limit on an unpaved county road in Georgia?
- ✓ 35 mph

What must a motorist have mounted in the vehicle to use Georgia's tolled express lanes?
- ✓ A registered Peach Pass transponder
- · A commercial driver's license
- · An HOV window decal only
- · A parking permit from the county
Tolled lanes read a registered Peach Pass transponder; entering without an active pass sends a violation notice to the registered owner.
📖 GA Manual · Georgia Drivers' Manual 2023-2024 - Express lanes, p. 238 · DRIVER FITNESS
If you pass the vision screening while wearing corrective lenses, what must you do when driving?
- ✓ Wear the corrective lenses

A corrective-lens restriction will appear on the license and the lenses must be worn while driving.
📖 GA Manual · Georgia Drivers' Manual 2023-2024 - Driver fitness, p. 69 · OTHER LAWS
In Georgia, wearing a headphone or headset while driving is:
- ✓ Unlawful because it impairs the driver's ability to hear
- · Legal if only one ear is covered
- · Legal at any speed below 35 mph
- · Legal on interstates only
Georgia law bars any device that impairs your hearing while driving, and you also may not wear anything that obstructs your vision.
📖 GA Manual · Georgia Drivers' Manual 2023-2024 - Other laws, p. 2310 · DRIVER FITNESS
What does the manual say about using stimulant or "stay awake" drugs to keep driving when drowsy?
- ✓ Do not rely on them; they are likely to make driving more hazardous
- · They safely replace a rest stop
- · They are recommended for long trips
- · They restore normal reaction time
Stop driving when you feel drowsy. Stimulant drugs do not restore alertness and are likely to make your driving more dangerous.
📖 GA Manual · Georgia Drivers' Manual 2023-2024 - Driver fitness, p. 4111 · WORK ZONES

Work-zone speeding is a high and aggravated misdemeanor in Georgia, punishable by a fine from $100 up to $2,000, imprisonment, or both.
📖 GA Manual · Georgia Drivers' Manual 2023-2024 - Work zones, p. 2212 · SAFE DRIVING

- ✓ With the intent to annoy, harass, molest, intimidate, injure, or obstruct another person
- · In reckless disregard for the safety of persons or property

Aggressive driving is defined by intent toward another person - annoying, harassing, intimidating, injuring, or obstructing. Driving in reckless disregard for the safety of persons or property is the separate offense of reckless driving.

A driver must yield to pedestrians:
- ✓ Entering or already in a crosswalk

Crosswalks can be marked in different ways, and pedestrians entering or in them have priority.
📖 GA Manual · Georgia Drivers' Manual 2023-2024 - Pedestrians, p. 3616 · VEHICLE CONTROL
Before moving from a stopped position, a driver should first:

A legal turn on red begins with a complete stop behind the applicable line or crosswalk.
