Rules of the Road
Space and speed management, turns, passing, parking, weather, and emergencies — the manual's Chapter 3 is most of the test. This guide has 148 questions, each citing the PA manual section it comes from — the first 18 are free to read below.
1 · PEDESTRIANS
A WALK signal or walking-person symbol means a pedestrian may:
- ✓ Begin crossing, while remaining alert for turning vehicles

- · Cross only halfway
Pedestrians may begin crossing on WALK but should remain alert because turning vehicles still may enter the crosswalk.
